Next Generation of High Reliability Spark Gaps

High Energy Devices, LLC, announces the immediate availability of the
next generation of two electrode and triggered spark gaps that can withstand
the extreme conditions required by commercial, industrial and military
needs.
In keeping with the company’s mission to partner with customers to develop the best solution for their application need, as well as general market needs, High Energy Devices and military contractors together identified several key design parameters. Of utmost importance for these new components was the ability to withstand field conditions, availability of a wide range of voltages and a relatively low cost. After rigorous design and testing phases, the BX and TX Series were released to production and two new solutions for fulfilling the needs of various industry transient and energy transfer applications emerged.
Both the BX and TX Series are currently available in sample and production quantities. For OEM quantities of 10,000, the BX series is priced at under $20 while the TX series is priced at under $30. Both series have a standard lead time of 6-8 weeks ARO.
Given the size, performance and cost advantages of these devices, they represent a significant addition to High Energy Devices’ existing broad product offerings.
